2012 Residential Seminar

Marlene is delighted to announce that she has been invited to be a tutor at the Healing Light Spiritual Centres weekend seminar at the Windsor Hotel Worthing. The amazing Darren Brittain and the lovely Janet Birdseye will be fellow tutors and The Healing Lights Cherry O`Sullivan and Cindy Hatchard are organisers. All three tutors have many years of experience in bringing out the best in their students, so this is likely to be a lively and inspirational seminar.

Included in the seminar package are;

· Programme of classes with our tutors open to all levels

· Meals; Breakfast, buffet lunch, evening meal and light refreshments during breaks.

· Same price bedrooms for our seminar, all of which are double sized air-conditioned and en-suite with access to the hotels complimentary Wifi network. They are also double glazed and all the rooms have LCD TV's* with the full range of freeview TV and radio channels. A welcome tray, safe, hair dryer and ironing centre are standard features in all rooms. They will be allocated according to occupancy. Home from Switzerland

I'm just back from a weekend seminar in Wilen, Switzerland with the amazing Eamonn Downey, who is just as popular and respected in Switzerland as he is here, in the UK. It has been such a privilege for me to work with him!
We were working for the Feng Shui Schule, which is run by Wendelin and Rita Niedberger, and we have already been asked to return there in June and November 2012.
The subject for the weekend was Trance and Trance Healing and proved to be very popular with the students who are all keen to come back to our future seminars. It proved to be a wonderful experience and I can't wait to be back there!

We had a wonderful evening at The Eastbourne Centre. The evidence flowed and the audience thoroughly enjoyed themselves, sharing laughter and tears (of joy!) as we worked our socks off! Half way through the evening the raffle was held, together with an auction for a night at the Eastbourne Centre (such a lovely hotel I was tempted to bid for it myself!) Dave Woolgar, the auctioneer coaxed and cajoled the bidders, finally raising the sum of £160 for the night. The overall sum raised by the demonstration, raffle and auction was £760! Many thanks to Robin and Sue Hodson of Seafordspirit for organising the evening and, of course, thanks to you, the audience - without you we couldn't have achieved our aim to help a friend in need!

Trance Workshop

I am looking forward to catching up with some old friends at the Trance Workshop that I am running for Indigo Spiritual Connection at Woodmancote Village Hall, I am sure we will have a great evening and produce some interesting results. Strood Spiritual Centre

It is always a pleasure to be invited to the Strood Spiritual Centre as it is one of those places that is light, airy and has a nice atmosphere, something not found in every rented hall. The audience is also enthusiastic and willing to show appreciation between links which always raises the energy and encourages those in Spirit to come forward thick and fast. As a result I would have quite happily continued for another hour or so, such was the wonderful energy generated by the audience and those in Spirit. Many very personal and detailed links were established. Thanks to Nicki Weir, Debbie Watts and the rest of the team for inviting me, see you all next time.

Grand Hotel

Thank you to everyone that turned up for the Starr Trust demonstration at the Grand Hotel in Brighton, Chris and his staff and my fellow medium for the evening Andrew Manship. I am overjoyed to report that the evening raised £1,026 for the 21 children’s charities that the Trust is raising money for this year. It was both a pleasure and a privilege to have been a part of the Trust’s incredible fund raising activities.

The Starr Trust

We had a super morning on the 11^th of May at the Brighton Sea Life Centre watching Starr Trust Chairman, Rob Starr, swimming with the sharks as part of the “Swim 4 Smiles” fund raising campaign. Rob is a truly amazing man and is totally dedicated to the trust set up in his late fathers name and this event was to promote his next challenge when he will swim the 21 miles across the English Channel to raise £100,000 for 21 children's projects around the world. At the time of writing over £41,000 has already been raised and you can follow Rob’s progress on Facebook , Twitter and on the Starr Trust web site www.starrtrust.com. I had a wonderful weekend in Eastbourne tutoring for Tony Stockwell. This month I am giving a charity demonstration with Andrew Manship for The Starr Trust at the Grand Hotel in Brighton. This worthwhile charity was set up in memory of Edward Starr by his children. Knowing of his love for children it seemed only right that their charity was created to support children's charities across the globe. This year they have pledged to raise £100,000 and fund raising activities include an across Channel swim as well as a swim with the sharks at Brighton Sea Life Centre! I'm so glad they didn't ask me to get involved with that one!

I am delighted to be able to help in their fund raising though and it will be wonderful if we can sell out on the tickets. (For those of you who enjoy a 'good night out' I am informed there will also be a bar where you will be able to purchase drinks in the interval!)

2011 Charity Events.

Marlene is taking part in two very worthy charity demonstrations this year.

The first of which is for The Starr Trust, a Hove based children’s charity that is well known to us. This is to be held at the Albert Room, The Grand Hotel Brighton BN1 2FW. The second 2011 fund raising event will be in aid of Sussex Air Ambulance for the Healing Light Spiritual Centre. Receiving no public or National Lottery funding, the charity relies almost entirely upon the generosity of the general public to support its vital service. However the challenge is to meet the yearly running costs of approximately £1.7 million to provide Sussex and neighbouring Surrey with an emergency helicopter service, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Responding swiftly to 999 calls, air ambulances are able to deliver a medical crew to the scene of an accident or medical emergency and to transport patients to the nearest major hospital or specialist unit, in a fraction of the time taken by a land ambulance.

Sussex

has a complete HEMS Service (Helicopter Emergency Medical Service), and employs the highest possible clinical standards in pre hospital care.

Did you know the air ambulance could reach the Healing Light’s hall in just eleven minutes from its base at Dunsford in Surrey!

Once again Marlene has freely volunteered her services as medium for this special fund raising demonstration where 100% of the money generated will go to Sussex Air Ambulance. Tickets will be available from the June demonstration onwards or from Cherry on 01273-422892

We had a really great evening at Lympne Castle where Marlene demonstrated with Donna Harris and Darren Brittain. The castle is just as atmospheric as we remembered it and we had a delightful meal before the demonstration in a private dinning room that had been set aside for us away from the paying guests.

Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and the evidence provided by the mediums was well received. Our thanks go out to all involved especially the guests and Rod Aspinall for making us so welcome at his wonderful venue. Lympne Castle hosts a number of functions, including midweek breaks and we would recommend their web site www.lympnecastle.com to you.

Unfortunately, the trip to Ireland at the end of February has had to be postponed but keep checking the website for a new date, hopefully, later in the year!

Just had a lovely evening demonstrating at the Lantern of Light in Burgess Hill, this is the most local venue and it was really nice to welcome so many people to the evening. Thanks to Lesleigh and hope that Malcolm is feeling better soon.

This weekend sees Marlene returning to Eastbourne as a tutor for one of Tony Stockwell’s popular weekend seminars. Marlene considers these weekends as some of the highlights of her year, as she puts it, “it’s like a family reunion when we all meet up to work hard, learn a lot and also have a little time for some fun too!”

Darren Brittain is running a workshop on Sunday 20th March at the Healing Light in Shoreham for those already sitting for development. Darren says that he “wants to work with the group to strengthen your links, challenge your weaknesses and improve presentation. Don’t let this put you off, as it is all part of being progressive in your approach to development by challenge your personal comfort zone. It also demonstrates a desire to build a firm foundation when working with Spirit.

The Angel Experience Live - Friday 15th October 2010

We all had a great evening at the first Angel Experience Live event at the Apollo Theatre in Dartford. The Angel Lady, Jacky Newcomb, hosted the evening after a big screen video welcome from Tony Stockwell. Marlene appeared in both parts of the show and lead the audience in an unscripted and intuitive invocation to meet the angels during the first half. Many were genuinely touched by the experience and had tears rolling down their faces. Healer and Aura Interpreter, Kevin Doe, had previously taken aura photographs of a few volunteers from the audience and two of these were chosen at random and invited on stage for some very accurate readings. The delightfully lively Nataly Churchill initiated the second half of the show with some well received mediumistic links and laughter. Marlene followed Nataly and gave two readings to members of the audience using the wonderful Tony Pinfold card images that were projected onto the screen. Jacky Newcomb read some passages from her new book before being joined by Marlene and Kevin on stage again to demonstrate healing using the live auragraph image which was projected onto the big screen. The show closed with everyone on stage leading the audience in singing Abba’s, ‘I Believe In Angels’ appropriate to any spiritual event! After the show many people stayed for further aura photos, have items signed and to talk to the participants.

Eastbourne Weekend Seminar

A dark, wet late night drive from Dartford to Eastbourne saw Marlene at Tony Stockwell’s twice yearly weekend in this seaside town. Marlene was due to run an optional workshop on the Saturday afternoon and this proved so popular that she ended up repeating this to even more people on Sunday afternoon!

Unlisted on the where to see Marlene page was the Physical and Trance Mediumship Workshop that Marlene ran at Tony Stockwell’s studio in Wickford, Essex. Marlene was delighted with her student’s willingness to take part in the exercises she set for them and was impressed by their level of understanding on the subject.

She has been involved with The Avalon Project for 11 years and always feels privileged to be invited to work as a tutor for their seminars and at the Studio as she regards both as places of excellence when it comes to training.
