Beautiful Bergen

Last Monday saw me arrving home from a fantastic week in Bergen working with Sue Smith for Spirit Event Norway!
Our week kicked off with a well-attended demonstration for the Spirit Union in Bergen (soon to be renamed!) The rest of the week followed, filled to the brim with private sittings, another demonstration, a ghost hunt and Sue and I both ran individual workshops at the Rica Hotel, also in Bergen.
All in all we had a fabulous week and we're soon to return in September for more of the same.
Geir Svoren and Grethe Dahle, co-founders of Spirit Event are also hoping to run a seminar next year so, if you fancy a weekend in the beautiful surroundings that Norway has to offer AND a place where you can learn how to develop your own gifts and also have fun, please keep an eye on my website or via www.spiritevent.no for details.

Sunny Scotland!

Well! I'm just back from a wonderful time working for Kilmarnock Spiritualist Church up in Scotland. What a lovely church it is! If any of you have the chance to go or to work there, please take the opportunity as you'll be pleasantly surprised by the welcome you receive. It's one of the loveliest churches I've ever had the privilege to serve!
Saturday's trance workshop was well-received by my willing students and it was refreshing to see them encouraging each other and embracing every task I set them with such enthusiasm!
Sunday morning I gave four private sittings then had the Divine Service in the evening which I thoroughly enjoyed as the energy in the church was electric!
On Monday I gave four more private sittings then gave a demonstration in the evening. Again the atmosphere and the love generated by the congregation was amazing!
I can't wait to be back there in August when I shall be tutoring with Darren Brittain for their annual seminar.

2012 Residential Seminar

Marlene is delighted to announce that she has been invited to be a tutor at the Healing Light Spiritual Centres weekend seminar at the Windsor Hotel Worthing. The amazing Darren Brittain and the lovely Janet Birdseye will be fellow tutors and The Healing Lights Cherry O`Sullivan and Cindy Hatchard are organisers. All three tutors have many years of experience in bringing out the best in their students, so this is likely to be a lively and inspirational seminar.

Included in the seminar package are;

· Programme of classes with our tutors open to all levels

· Meals; Breakfast, buffet lunch, evening meal and light refreshments during breaks.

· Same price bedrooms for our seminar, all of which are double sized air-conditioned and en-suite with access to the hotels complimentary Wifi network. They are also double glazed and all the rooms have LCD TV's* with the full range of freeview TV and radio channels. A welcome tray, safe, hair dryer and ironing centre are standard features in all rooms. They will be allocated according to occupancy. There are no single rooms, so a surcharge of £75 will be added for single occupation. (Hotel condition)

· Car parking as available and complimentary on street parking vouchers.

Home from Switzerland

I'm just back from a weekend seminar in Wilen, Switzerland with the amazing Eamonn Downey, who is just as popular and respected in Switzerland as he is here, in the UK. It has been such a privilege for me to work with him!
We were working for the Feng Shui Schule, which is run by Wendelin and Rita Niedberger, and we have already been asked to return there in June and November 2012.
The subject for the weekend was Trance and Trance Healing and proved to be very popular with the students who are all keen to come back to our future seminars. It proved to be a wonderful experience and I can't wait to be back there!

On Saturday (15th) I shall be working with Darren Brittain once again, at the Healing Light Spiritual Centre, Milward Court, Wilmot Road, Shoreham and hope to see some of you there. Working with Darren is always an enjoyable experience, he is such an excellent medium and also has a brilliant sense of humour so the audience is assured of a good evening!

Charity Dem at Eastbourne with Darren Brittain

We had a wonderful evening at The Eastbourne Centre. The evidence flowed and the audience thoroughly enjoyed themselves, sharing laughter and tears (of joy!) as we worked our socks off! Half way through the evening the raffle was held, together with an auction for a night at the Eastbourne Centre (such a lovely hotel I was tempted to bid for it myself!) Dave Woolgar, the auctioneer coaxed and cajoled the bidders, finally raising the sum of £160 for the night. The overall sum raised by the demonstration, raffle and auction was £760! Many thanks to Robin and Sue Hodson of Seafordspirit for organising the evening and, of course, thanks to you, the audience - without you we couldn't have achieved our aim to help a friend in need!

I'm hopeful we will have a good turnout for this fundraiser to help a special lady who needs a new wheelchair!
